Great Bend Fire/EMS

There were nine Emergency Medical Service calls on Tuesday. Firefighters checked a possible gas leak when a strange smell was reported inside the building at 2220 Van Burren St. at 1:19 a.m. but no leak was detected with the monitor.

Criminal damage to property was reported Tuesday at 370 NE 80 Ave., Ellinwood.

Great Bend Police

Police received a report at 12:18 a.m. Tuesday that someone was in the trash bin at Applebee’s.

A sex offense was reported.

A theft was reported at 1307 Jefferson St.

A burglary was reported at 2611 27th St. Apt. 28.

A non-injury crash was reported at 3:29 p.m. at 1919 Harrison St.
