Great Bend Fire/EMS

Emergency Medical Service made four ambulance runs on Tuesday. Firefighters performed one carbon monoxide check and checked on a smoke smell at 2812 26th Street.


Barton County Sheriff

A fraud was reported Tuesday at the Great Bend USD 428 District Education Center, 201 Patton Road.

An injury crash was reported at 7:27 p.m. at 10th and Grant, Great Bend.

A narcotics violation was reported around 11 p.m. the Barton County Historical Society, 85 South U.S. 281. The K-9 unit was called out and an open door or window was found. A vehicle nearby at the Cheyenne Sportsman Club was also checked.

The K-9 was called to Broadway and Holland St. in Great Bend at 11:52 p.m.


Great Bend Police

A stolen vehicle was recovered Tuesday.

Stolen property was recovered.

Stolen tag 108FYS was recovered.

A known person was served a notice to appear in court for alleged trespassing and shoplifting at Dollar General.

A burglary was reported at 11th and Stone, where a storage unit was damaged.

A burglary was reported at 210 Hubbard St. Property was damaged and a case was taken for criminal trespass.

GBPD responded to the injury crash at 10th and Grant at 7:27 p.m.

A non-injury crash was reported at 7:55 p.m. at Walmart.
