Great Bend Fire/EMS

Emergency Medical Service made four ambulance runs Tuesday. There were no fires.


Barton County Sheriff

A non-injury crash was reported at 1:31 a.m. Tuesday at NW 120 Ave. and NW 150 Road.

A battery case was taken at Barton County Detention.

A non-injury crash was reported at 4:28 p.m. at Barton Community College, 245 NE 30 Road.

A sex offense at Stone Lake, 2501 Railroad Ave., was reported Tuesday evening. The alleged offense occurred in Great Bend and the case was transferred to the Great Bend Police Department.

A non-injury crash was reported at 8:10 p.m. when a westbound vehicle turned in front of an eastbound vehicle at West K-4 and NW 80 Ave.

A non-injury crash was reported at 6:25 a.m. Wednesday in the 1000 block of NW K-96, Albert.


Great Bend Police

An officer located a Kansas license tag in the street in the 2100 block of 10th Street, late Tuesday morning. It was booked into evidence.

A search warrant was executed at 2:33 p.m. at 2609 Washington St. The K-9 unit was brought to that address around 4:48 p.m.

Someone damaged the fence at Marshall’s Tow, Repo and Recovery, 514 Morton St.

Someone reported her son being battered at the Great Bend Recreation Activity Center, 2715 18th St.

Criminal damage to property was reported at 737 Wilson St.

A burglary in progress was reported at 4:13 a.m. Wednesday at 2208 25th St.
