Great Bend Fire/EMS
Emergency Medical Service responded to two calls Thursday, four Friday, six Saturday and eight Sunday. Two more calls were canceled Thursday while the ambulance was en route. EMS was on standby Friday at the football game and Saturday at the drag races.
There was a vehicle fire at 6:54 p.m. Saturday in the 100 block of NW 10 Ave. There was also a trash fire at 8:27 a.m. Saturday at 2501 Railroad Ave., and one false alarm caused by a system malfunction.

A non-injury crash was reported at 5:31 p.m. Friday at Railroad Ave. and Patton Road, Great Bend.
An injury crash was reported at 9:50 a.m. Saturday in the 300 block of North Washington Ave., Great Bend.
A burglary was reported at 41 NE 70 Ave., Great Bend.
An injury crash was reported at 10:29 a.m. Saturday at NE 10 Ave. and NE 20 Road. Kansas Highway Patrol responded.
A non-injury crash was reported at 11:39 a.m. at Walmart.
Theft was reported at 4 NW 30 Road.
Fraud was reported at 1176 NW 20 Road.
Theft was reported in the 5700 block of Anchor Way, Great Bend.
An assault was reported Sunday morning at 222 N. Washington Ave., Great Bend.

A non-injury crash was reported at 7:53 a.m. Friday when a GBPD unit was struck at Great Bend High School, 2017 Morton St. There was no damage; photos were taken by an officer.
Someone damaged the driver’s side door to a vehicle and made a report at the GBPD.
A non-injury crash was reported at 9:31 a.m. at the high school.
A fight was reported at 9:33 a.m. at the high school.
A sex offense was reported.
A non-injury crash was reported at 2:10 p.m. at Dillons, 4107 10th St.
Theft of $30 in fuel was reported at Zips Service, 2010 10th St.
A non-injury crash was reported at 4:27 p.m. at 815 Holland St.
Theft of a shop vac from a garage at 1220 Hoover St. was reported Saturday.
An injury crash was reported at 10:56 a.m. Saturday at 11th and Main.
A non-injury crash was reported at 11:39 a.m. at Walmart.
Theft of a bicycle was reported at 2909 16th St.
A scam phone call was reported.
A 2007 Chevy Impala reportedly stolen in Hays was recovered Saturday afternoon in the 200 block of Elm Street; Jennifer Hernandez was arrested for the Hays Police Department and transported to Ellis County by the Hays PD.
A burglary was reported at Holiday Apartments, 5210 10th St. Money was reportedly stolen from Apartment 11.
Kansas vehicle tag 534GRF was reportedly stolen at 1220 9th St. The tag was entered into the National Crime Information Center database.
GBPD responded to a domestic call at 6:54 p.m. Saturday in the 1300 block of Monroe Street. Suspect Tucker Trevino was arrested for aggravated domestic battery, obstruction, three counts of battery of a law enforcement officer and criminal damage after he allegedly resisted arrest. Bond was set at $20,000.
A theft case was taken early Sunday after a caller reported that a female suspect was driving one of his company vehicles at Broadway and Main without his permission.
Fraud was reported after someone used an individual’s debit card number to make an online purchase.
A vehicle with flashing blue lights in the grill was seen Sunday evening at Walmart. An individual was contacted by police and advised to remove them.
Multiple vehicles were damaged in the Marshall’s Tow, Repo and Recovery parking lot at 514 Morton St.
