One person was injured Friday when a sport utility vehicle and a pickup collided in Ellis County, Kansas Highway Patrol reports.
Harold A. Redford, 69, of Parsons, was exiting Interstate 70 at the U.S. 183 bypass at 4:45 p.m. and failed to yield to a Ford pickup driven by Jacob L. Malcolm, 24, of LaCrosse. This resulted in the Redford vehicle, a GMC SUV, hitting the pickup.
Neither driver was injured, but Judith A. Redford, 70, a passenger in the SUV, was taken to Hays Medical Center with undetermined injuries. All three were wearing seat belts.
