Callers report woman pointed gun at them


At 3:49 p.m. Sunday, a man at Walmart called the Great Bend Police Department to report a known female pointing a gun at him from a vehicle. An attempt to locate bulletin was aired. At 3:58 p.m. a female also reported the same suspect had pointed a gun at her from a vehicle at 10th and Patton Road.

No arrest has been made at this time.



Aggravated assault reported


The Great Bend Police Department arrested one suspect for aggravated assault on Saturday. An assault was first reported at 7:26 p.m. at 1026 Madison St. A second officer was called to the house at 7:50 p.m. and Frank Relmar, Great Bend, was arrested. He was booked in the county jail on an aggravated assault charge in lieu of $20,000 bond.

On Sunday, an individual reported theft of an iPhone at the location of the incident.


Man booked on aggravated battery charge


At 6:18 p.m. Sunday, the Great Bend Police Department responded to a domestic call at 1427 11th St. The victim reported a known male strangling her and throwing her to the ground. Derrick Ketch was arrested and booked into the county jail on a charge of aggravated battery, domestic violence, with bond set at $20,000.

There was no report of the victim needing medical attention.
