Great Bend Fire

Firefighters made seven ambulance runs on Thursday, six on Friday, five on Saturday and three on Sunday.
A fire was reported at 8:18 p.m. Friday at 125 Chestnut St. Firefighters were en route when the call was canceled; there was no fire.
Carbon monoxide checks were performed Sunday at 1808 Willow Lane and at 717 Coolidge St. Nothing was found.

Great Bend Police
A theft was reported Friday at 2623 Lakin Ave.
A non-injury crash was reported at 8:05 a.m. at 10th and Odell.
A non-injury hit-and-run crash was reported at 2301 Kansas Ave.
A theft was reported at 2401 Railroad Ave. BCSO responded because the incident occurred in the river.
A theft was reported at Wal-Mart.
A burglary was reported at 2919 Gano St.
Theft of an Oreo shake was reported Saturday at Burger King.
Windows were broken on a vehicle at 721 Williams St.
Damage to a back door at 914 Stone St. was reported.
A known person reportedly stole a package of beef jerky from Cerv’s, 1000 Main.
A vehicle was damaged outside Prince of Peace Church.
Criminal damage to a vehicle at 312 Frey St. was reported.
Damage to a vehicle was reported Sunday at 5931 Eisenhower Court. Keys were then found at that location.
Theft of a decal was reported at 1307 Harding St.
A non-injury crash was reported at 3:10 p.m. Sunday at K-96 and Patton Road.
A theft was reported Sunday evening at 8th and Stone St.
A warrant arrest was reported at 8th and Kansas Ave.
Theft of fuel was reported at Kwik Shop No. 747, 2334 Main.
An arrow was found at 5936 Eisenhower Court. It was collected and placed in evidence.

Sept. 22
A theft was reported a Stone Lake, 2401 Railroad Ave., on Friday.
An officer responded to a reported disturbance 384 N. Washington Ave. at 4:32 p.m. A subject damaged items and struck a law enforcement officer.
A theft was reported at 160 SE 1 Ave.
A burglary was reported at All Seasons Mobile Home park, 4 NW 30 Road.
A vehicle hit a deer at 6:48 p.m. at NW K-96 and NW 80 Ave.
Sept. 23
An injury crash was reported at 1:08 a.m. Saturday at NE 100 Road and NE 140 Ave., rural Claflin. A vehicle rolled after hitting a cow.
An animal complaint was reported Saturday at 344 SE 40 Ave.
A theft was reported at Cerv’s, 1000 Main, Great Bend.
A theft was reported at the Motocross Track, 998 K St., rural Great Bend.
A deer was removed from the roadway on U.S. 56 at mile marker 213 around 10:50 p.m.
Sept. 24
A driver with a flat tire received a citation for transporting an open container at 2:09 a.m. Sunday on NE 130 Ave. and NE 140 Road.
Illegal hunting was reported. BCSO assisted Kansas Department of Wildlife, Parks & Tourism at Forest Ave. and Beckett Ave. in Hoisington.
An assault that occurred at an unknown location in the county was reported.
A burglary/theft was reported at 760 NW 200 Road, Hoisington.
A vehicle fire was reported at 4:03 p.m. at NW 130 Road and NW 30 Ave.
