Police roundup: Burglaries, damage reported

The Great Bend Police Department received two burglary reports on Friday.

Someone broke into the residence at 212 Chestnut St. and took miscellaneous items.

A television and sofa were stolen during a burglary at 915 Stone St. It was the second time in recent days that a victim had reported losing both a TV and a sofa in a burglary.

Police also received multiple complaints of criminal damage to property over the weekend.

Damage to a Dodge Stratus at 901 Eighth St. was reported Friday.

Someone broke a front window on a residence at 3204 Forest Ave., it was reported Saturday night.

Two windows were broken out of a vehicle at 9017 Eighth St., it was reported Monday morning.

Also, several legally parked vehicles were damaged by hit-and-run vehicles.

The service briefing log shows incidents were reported in the Walmart parking lot, at 807 Elm St. and at 1800 Baker Ave., all on Saturday morning.

Another hit-and-run was reported at 1:09 a.m. Monday at 2314 16th St.
