Purses snatched from vehicles this week

Local law enforcement reports  several vehicles have been broken into, and purses and other items stolen this week.
The Barton County Sheriff’s Office received a report Tuesday night that someone broke a window on a car at the Classic Inn Restaurant, 30 Patton Road, Great Bend, and took a purse.
The Great Bend Police Department received a report Tuesday that someone broke into a vehicle at 3101 Washington and stole a purse. The responding officer found another car was also broken into, and miscellaneous items taken.
Police also received a report that tools had been stolen from a parked vehicle at 2920 10th St.
On Wednesday morning, police received a report of someone breaking a window at 619 Main and taking a purse. The victim’s debit card was then used at a convenience store and at a Redbox vending machine.
