Great Bend Fire/EMS

Emergency Medical Service responded to seven calls Monday.

There was a report of wires arcing in the 1900 block of Madison at 1:35 p.m. The electric company was contacted.


Barton County Sheriff

A non-injury crash was reported at 6:09 a.m. Monday at NE 100 Road and NE 100 Ave.


Great Bend Police

Someone broke the glass in the front door at Head Quarters Salon, 1104 Main, it was reported Monday.

A box of ammunition was found in a field and given to police. It was booked into evidence.

An individual reported someone using her debit card without permission.

A theft was reported at Dollar General, 2400 10th St.

A non-injury crash was reported at 4:43 p.m. in the 800 block of Hickory Street.

A fight was reported at 5:14 p.m. at 1515 Morton St.

A possible burglary in progress was reported at 6:13 p.m. in the 1400 block of 11th Street, where two females was “acting suspicious.” Both were contacted.

A woman had questions about her husband locking her out of their residence Monday evening.

A fraud/theft by a former employee was reported at Kustom Flood Designs Inc., 1515 Main.

A burglary was reported at 1614 1/2 Lakin Ave. Keys and a title were taken.

Police took a case of threats via texting.

Criminal damage to a vehicle at Walmart, 3503 10th St., was reported.
