Police and the sheriff’s office responded to a report of possible shots fired in the area of Walmart, 3503 10th St., at 9:28 p.m. Nothing was found.
A man who was intoxicated notified police at 5:11 a.m. Friday that he may have been hit by a pickup in the 3300 block of 10th St. Officers concluded he had not been struck but had fallen into a mud puddle. At 5:45 he asked to be transported to the hospital with an eight-week-old injury. He was transported.
