Great Bend Fire/EMS

Emergency Medical Service made three ambulance runs Thursday. There were no fires.


Great Bend Police

A battery complaint involving a juvenile was taken Thursday morning.

A bicycle was reported stolen from 1901 Frey St.

A motorist backed into a legally parked vehicle at 2:40 p.m. at 2312 8th St.

A non-injury crash was reported at 4:09 p.m. at 26th and Gano.

A sex offense was reported.

Theft was reported at The Center for Counseling, 5815 Broadway Ave.

A burglary occurred sometime overnight at a residence at 1120 Morton St., it was reported Thursday.

A non-injury crash was reported at Arby’s, 3413 10th St.

Police and the sheriff’s office responded to a report of possible shots fired in the area of Walmart, 3503 10th St., at 9:28 p.m. Nothing was found.

A man who was intoxicated notified police at 5:11 a.m. Friday that he may have been hit by a pickup in the 3300 block of 10th St. Officers concluded he had not been struck but had fallen into a mud puddle. At 5:45 he asked to be transported to the hospital with an eight-week-old injury. He was transported.

A non-injury crash was reported at 11:51 a.m. Thursday at Patton Road and Railroad Ave., Great Bend.

A non-injury crash was reported at 4:13 p.m. at 195 NE 40 Road, Great Bend.

A theft was reported at 181 North U.S. 281, Great Bend.
