GBFD responded to a report of a subject burning tree limbs at 1020 Jackson St. at 5:36 p.m. Sunday.

A non-injury crash was reported at 17th and Morton streets at 8:31 a.m. Friday.

A non-injury crash was reported at 10:12 a.m. Friday in the 4800 block of 10th Street.

Two juveniles were reported for shoplifting items from Walmart at 2:58 p.m. Friday. Both were transported to the Juvenile Justice Authority.

A domestic battery was reported at 4:43 p.m. Friday. Eric Duerksen was arrested and booked for battery domestic violence and released on bond.

Criminal damage to a fence was reported at 5:38 p.m. Friday at 2904 Williams St.

Theft of speakers from a vehicle was reported at 7:09 p.m. Friday at 2108 29th St.

A subject reported being battered by a known person at Charlie’s Place, 1109 Main St., at 2:10 a.m. Saturday.

A shoplifting case was reported at Walmart at 3:25 p.m. Saturday.

Criminal damage to a vehicle was reported at 1913 Heizer St. at 9:29 p.m. Saturday.

Criminal damage to a residence was reported at 8:13 a.m. Sunday at 5957 Eisenhower Ave.

Criminal damage to a vehicle was reported at 8:28 a.m. Sunday at 4201 8th St.

Criminal damage to a vehicle was reported at 11:04 a.m. Sunday at 1411 18th St.

A non-injury crash was reported at 23rd and McKinley streets at 12:05 p.m. Sunday.

Theft of a cell phone was reported at Dillons No. 3, 1811 Main St. at 6:31 p.m. Sunday.


Barton County Sheriff

A non-injury crash was reported at 4:28 a.m. Friday in the 700 block of NE K-156, Claflin.

A non-injury crash was reported at 8:25 a.m. Friday at NE 27 Avenue and E. U.S. 56.

A non-injury crash was reported at 11:46 a.m. Friday at SE 30 Road and SE 50 Avenue, Great Bend.

A structure fire was reported at 5:39 p.m. Friday at 381 NW 90 Ave. The Albert Fire Department responded and extinguished a small fire in a stock tank adjacent to the house. Only light smoke damage was reported to the structure.

A structure fire was reported at 415 2nd St., Claflin, at 9:01 p.m. Friday. A fire started in the bathroom of a detached garage. The Claflin Fire Department responded and contained the fire. No injuries were reported in the fire. A battery was reported the Barton County Detention Center at 4:11 a.m. Saturday.

Criminal damage was reported at Moeder Oil, 2302 Railroad Ave., at 8:02 a.m. Saturday.

A burglary in progress was reported at 586 NE 30 Rd., Great Bend at 6:22 p.m. Saturday.

An ATV crash was reported at 7:09 p.m. Saturday in the 400 block of SW 50 Avenue.

The K-9 unit was dispatched to a traffic stop in the 100 block of NE 100 Avenue, Ellinwood, at 7:18 p.m. Sunday.

A non-injury crash was reported at NE 40 Road and NE Chisholm Trail at 7:34 p.m. Sunday.
