Great Bend Fire/EMS

A fire in the top of a chimney was reported at 1:35 p.m. Wednesday at Bee Keepers, 3200 21st St. The fire department shows this as a “smoke scare" rather than an actual structure fire.

Emergency Medical Service made 10 ambulance runs Wednesday.


Great Bend Police

A non-injury crash was reported at noon Wednesday at 1515 Williams St.

A burglary was reported at 1500 19th St. Items were taken from the residence.

A non-injury crash was reported at 4:24 p.m. at 9th and Baker.

A burglary was reported at 1037 Adams.

A non-injury crash was reported at 8:58 p.m. at 2209 29th St.


Barton County Sheriff

A non-injury crash was reported at 7:51 p.m. Wednesday at SW 50 Ave. and SW 40 Road, Dundee.

A non-injury crash was reported at 8:52 p.m. at North U.S. 281 and NE 60 Road, Hoisington.
