Great Bend Fire/EMS

Emergency Medical Service made four ambulance runs Wednesday. There were no fires.


Great Bend Police

A non-injury crash was reported at 8:06 a.m. Wednesday at Great Bend High School.

A sex offense was reported at 11:52 a.m.

GBPD assisted with a search warrant at 301 East 1st St. in St. John at 1:35 p.m.

A cat bite was reported at 4:14 p.m. in the 1200 block of Baker Ave.

A burglary not in progress was reported Wednesday evening at 5226 Eisenhower Ave.


Barton County Sheriff

A non-injury crash was reported at 9:46 a.m. Wednesday in the 3600 block of Railroad Ave., Great Bend.

A theft was reported at 10 NE 20 Road, Great Bend.

Narcotics violations were reported at 4:52 p.m. at Main Street and A Street in Hoisington and at 9:12 p.m. near mile marker 218 on East U.S. 56, Great Bend. A K-9 unit was dispatched to the U.S. 56 location at 9:17 p.m.

A K-9 was dispatched to a traffic stop that began at 11:19 at West 2nd and North Center St. in Hoisington.
