Great Bend Fire/EMS

Emergency Medical Service responded to three calls Monday. Another call was canceled while the ambulance was en route. There were no fires, but there was one false alarm.

Barton County Sheriff

A non-injury crash was reported at 6:30 a.m. Monday at NW 150 Road and North U.S. 281.

A theft was reported at SE 100 Ave. and SE 40 Road.

A fire was reported at 10:07 a.m. in the 1100 block of NE 70 Road, Claflin.

An attempted fraud or robocaller was reported but no case was taken because there was no loss.

Great Bend Police

Salvation Army Family Store, 2545 10th St. received a donated couch Monday that had gasoline on it.

A non-injury crash was reported at 2:33 p.m. in the 3400 block of 10th Street.

A male reportedly stole liquor at Z’s Liquor Mart, 1906 Main, last Friday. A case was taken Monday.
