Great Bend Fire/EMS

Emergency Medical Service responded to five calls Friday, seven Saturday and eight Sunday. They were on standby Friday and Saturday at the dragstrip.

There was a small fire at 606 Main at 12:19 a.m. Sunday.


Barton County Sheriff

A fraud was reported Friday at SE 20 Ave. and Kit Dr.

A burglary in progress was reported at 8:43 a.m. Saturday at 612 Windmill Lane, Great Bend.

Alleged intimidation of a witness was reported in Dundee.

An injury crash was reported at 7:08 p.m. Saturday at NW 100 Road and NW 10 Ave., Hoisington.

A non-injury crash was reported at 12:17 a.m. Sunday at NE 40 Ave. and NE 170 Road.


Great Bend Police

Criminal damage to property was reported Friday in the 600 block of Kansas Avenue after someone painted graffiti on the elevator.

A sex offense was reported.

A vehicle with an unknown driver struck a legally parked vehicle at Wal-Mart.

Theft of motor fuel was reported at Zip Stop 5, 1001 Main.

A theft was reported at 2325 12th St.

A theft was reported at 1720 Morton St.

A non-injury crash was reported at 8:11 a.m. Saturday at Great Bend High School, 2027 Morton St.

Theft of a dog kennel and canopy was reported at 1411 12th St.

A cell phone was reportedly stolen at Salvation Army Family Store, 2545 10th St.

A GBPD officer assisted Hoisington Police Department at 12:56 p.m. Saturday at an address on West 7th Street in Hoisington.

Fraud was reported at 1429 10th St.

A hit-and-run vehicle struck a legally parked vehicle at an unknown location in Great Bend.

A male reportedly shoplifted items from Dollar General, 2400 10th St., Sunday morning.

A woman reported theft of headlights off her vehicle at 701 Morton St.

A domestic call to Wal-Mart around 3:51 p.m. Sunday resulted in a report of an aggravated assault.

Criminal damage to property was reported in the 1900 block of Madison Street.

Early Monday, criminal damage to property was reported at 305 Heizer St.
