Great Bend Fire/EMS

A fire was reported in a storm drain at 17th Street and White Sands Drive at 10:37 p.m. Friday. The fire was extinguished.


Great Bend Police

A burglary was reported at 2700 Jackson St. at 10:52 a.m. Friday. Phillip Pardo Jr. was arrested on multiple charges after attempting to flee from officers and booked in lieu of bond.

Theft of a cellphone was reported at 11:25 a.m. Friday at Pizza Hut, 4101 10th St.

A battery case involving a juvenile was reported at 12:05 p.m. Friday at Washington Early Education Center, 2535 Lakin Ave.

A window at Burger King, 3929 10th St., was reportedly shot by a BB gun at 1:30 a.m. Saturday.

A sex offense was reported at 3:48 p.m. Saturday.

A shoplifting case was reported at Kwik Shop, 3907 Broadway Ave., at 9:37 p.m. Sunday.


Barton County Sheriff

A theft was reported at 8:36 a.m. Friday at 1100 NW 40 Ave., Hoisington.

An injury crash was reported at 11:09 a.m. Friday at 57 SE 16 Rd., Great Bend.

A theft was reported at 1:34 p.m. Friday at Nobody’s Auto Salvage, 332 N. U.S. 281, Great Bend.

A non-injury crash was reported at 6:01 p.m. Saturday at U.S. 281 and NW 150 Road.

A non-injury crash was reported at 9:32 p.m. Sunday at K-4 mile marker 118.
