Great Bend Fire/EMS -- A smoke smell was reported at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Burger King. The cause was an overheated motor.


Great Bend Police

A possible burglary in progress was reported at 1:12 a.m. in the 1200 block of Macarthur St. Nothing was found.

Theft of money from 1324 Kansas Ave. was reported.

A non-injury crash was reported at 8:48 p.m. Tuesday at 16th and Morton.

All units were alerted when Barton County Sheriff’s Office pursuit was reported at 11 p.m. at SW 56 Ave. and U.S. 56. GBPD assisted.

Criminal damage to property was reported at 9:39 a.m. Tuesday at 828 NW 80 Ave., Olmitz.

A pursuit began at 11 p.m. at SW 56 Ave. and U.S. 56.
