Great Bend Fire/EMS

GBFD responded to multiple fire reports related to high winds Wednesday afternoon.


Great Bend Police

Criminal threats were reported at Great Bend High School at 9:31 a.m. Wednesday. A juvenile was arrested and booked for criminal threat.

A non-injury crash was reported at K-96 and Broadway Avenue at 2:55 p.m. Wednesday.

Multiple instances of wind-related storm damage were reported Wednesday afternoon in Great Bend.


Barton County Sheriff

A non-injury crash was reported at 8:08 a.m. Wednesday at 767 N. U.S. 281, Hoisington.

An injury crash was reported at 8:21 a.m. Wednesday U.S. 56 mile marker 198.

A non-injury crash was reported at U.S. 56 and NE 50 Avenue at 11:58 a.m. Wednesday.

A non-injury crash was reported at 15 NE 60 Ave., Great Bend, at 11:59 a.m. Wednesday.

A non-injury crash was reported at NW 90 Road and NW 50 Avenue at 4:34 p.m. Wednesday.
