Great Bend Fire EMS
Emergency Medical Service made six ambulance runs on Friday, Dec. 2, five on Saturday and six on Sunday.
At 10:10 a.m. Friday, firefighters extinguished hay bales burning at Great Bend Feeding, 355 NW 30 Ave., Great Bend, and at 11:50 a.m. they extinguished more hay bales on fire at the same address.
Arcing wires were reported at 5:13 p.m. Friday at Lawn Ranger Inc., 715 Patton Road.
Firefighters also checked on an unauthorized burn pit at 5:18 p.m. Friday at 2525 McBride Parkway and it was extinguished by the homeowner.
There was a false alarm at 11 a.m. Saturday at the University of Kansas Health System - Great Bend Campus, 514 Cleveland St.
Firefighters performed a carbon monoxide check at 7:19 p.m. Sunday at 2204 Jefferson St.

A two-vehicle, non-injury crash was reported at 5:23 a.m. Friday at 1402 Cherry Lane.
The K-9 unit was used on a traffic stop at 10:41 a.m. Friday at 24th and Washington.
A case for possession of marijuana was taken Friday afternoon at Sonic Drive-in.
A non-injury crash was reported at 5:08 p.m. Saturday at 10th and Washington.
A fight was reported at 2:23 p.m. Sunday at 2540 16th St., where Brady Morgan allegedly threatened and battered his roommate. He was booked on charges that included domestic battery and battery on a law enforcement officer, and released after posting a $5,000 surety bond.
Theft of a handgun from a vehicle at 2535 21st St. was reported Sunday afternoon.

BCSO checked on a domestic call reported at 9:11 p.m. Friday at the Wheatridge Apartments in Hoisington.
An injury crash was reported at 7:50 a.m. Saturday at NW 100 Road and NW 40 Ave.
A domestic call was reported at 1:52 p.m. Saturday in the 200 block of West 7th St., Ellinwood.
There was an animal complaint at 4:36 p.m. Saturday at 98 SE 20 Road, Great Bend.
Criminal damage to property was reported Saturday evening at 30 S. Vine St., Hoisington.
A non-injury crash was reported at 5:23 p.m. Saturday in the 400 block of NE 30 Road, Great Bend.
