Great Bend Fire/EMS

A structure fire was reported at 7:41 p.m. Monday at 1210 Ninth St. The Great Bend Police Department took a miscellaneous case because the fire was suspicious. Loss was $1,500.

A structure fire was reported at 10:12 a.m. Tuesday at 701 Odell. A heater in the house was listed as the probable cause.

Emergency Medical Service made eight ambulance runs Monday and nine Tuesday. A 10th ambulance run on Tuesday was canceled while the unit was en route.


Barton County Sheriff

A non-injury crash was reported at 6:55 a.m. Monday at 364 SW 50 Ave., Great Bend.

A non-injury crash was reported at 2:32 a.m. Tuesday at 9th and Main, Great Bend.

A theft was reported at Warner Circle and Warner Road, Great Bend.


Great Bend Police

A subject reported Monday that personal checks he did not authorize had been forged and cashed at Check Into Cash.

An unknown motorist struck a legally parked vehicle behind Gambino’s Pizza.

A hit-and-run vehicle struck a legally parked vehicle at The Reserves at Trail Ridge, 811 Grant St.

Someone egged a vehicle in the parking lot at The Reserves at Trail Ridge. No case was taken because there was no damage.

A hit-and-run crash at Ninth and Main was reported at 2:32 a.m. Tuesday.

A theft was reported at Warner Circle and Warner Road.

Vehicles driven by Mary Schenk and Mason Wagner collided at 9:22 a.m. Tuesday at 24th and Washington. No injuries were reported.

A window was shattered on the north side of the building at 910 Kennedy St. Loss was $50.
