Great Bend Fire Department
A structure fire was reported at 3:52 p.m. Saturday at 370 SE 30 Road, Great Bend. Railroad ties, hay bales and a shed next to the ties were on fire. The structure was fully involved when firefighters arrived; the flames were knocked down and the fire was left to burn itself out.
Barton County Sheriff
A search warrant was executed at 10:48 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 31, at 1007 Worden St. in Albert.
A theft was reported at 1807 Stone St., Great Bend.
Criminal damage to property was reported in the 1000 block of NW 50 Ave.
BCSO was at the Diversion Dam, located at 463 SW 60 Ave., Great Bend, from 11:56 p.m. Thursday to 12:21 a.m. Friday, Jan. 1. A warrant arrest was made.
A deer vs vehicle crash was reported at 3:26 a.m. Friday at mile marker 108 of North U.S. 281.
BCSO assisted the Hoisington Police Department on a domestic call on West 4th St. at 4:15 p.m. Friday.
A pursuit began at 10:55 p.m. Saturday in the Hoisington area. Units were cleared at 12:25 a.m. Sunday.
An injury crash was reported at 1:33 p.m. Sunday at 424 NE 10 Ave., Great Bend.

A dog bite was reported Thursday morning, Dec. 31, in the 1400 block of 11th St.
GBPD assisted in the execution of a search warrant in Albert at 10:48 a.m. Thursday.
An individual reported someone filing for unemployment in her name. She was referred to the Kansas Department of Labor.
A non-injury crash was reported at 2:05 p.m. Thursday at Dillons No. 3, 1811 Main.
Alleged shoplifting by a known male was reported at Walmart, where a Notice to Appear (NTA) in municipal court was signed and served.
A large party in the 2800 block of Forest Ave. was broken up shortly before 2 a.m. Friday, Jan. 1, after a possible fight was reported.
An officer attempted a traffic stop at 4:55 p.m. Friday at 22nd and Washington. An unknown male subject fled and was not located.
A non-injury crash was reported at 4:24 p.m. Saturday at 10th and Kansas.
A non-injury crash was reported at 4:42 p.m. Saturday at Adams and Forest.
Damaged property was reported Sunday morning at 1014 Odell St. A criminal trespass case was taken.
Police received a report at 2:08 p.m. Sunday that Leonel Lira was in possession of narcotics. Lira was arrested in Great Bend and book on a charge of possession of meth. He was released after posting a $10,000 surety bond.
Criminal damage to a vehicle and to a residence window at 810 Baker Ave. was reported at 3:54 p.m. Sunday.
A male reported being threatened with a firearm by a known person, who was located in Larned and arrested. Frank Joseph Cepeda Jr. was booked Sunday on a charge of criminal threat and released after posting a $5,000 surety bond.
