The Barton County Health Department reported the first confirmed positive case of coronavirus disease 19 (COVID-19) in Barton County. Testing was confirmed on Monday, March 30 at 11 a.m.

A non-injury crash was reported at 11:01 a.m. Thursday at W. Barton County Rd. and NW 70 Ave.

A non-injury crash was reported at 11:47 a.m. Thursday at 24th St. and Morton St. GBPD also responded.

A non-injury crash was reported at 12:03 p.m. Thursday at Broadway Ave. and Kansas Ave. GBPD also responded.

The K-9 unit was called out at 5:01 p.m. Thursday to Casey’s General Store, 1315 10th St.
