Great Bend Fire/EMS

The Great Bend Emergency Medical Service had eight ambulance runs Monday. Firefighters responded to an illegal burn Monday at 1:37 p.m. in the 5500 block of Railroad Ave. Firefighters were also summoned to the 1300 block of Patton Road for a report of a smell of electrical lines burning at 4:46 p.m. No evidence was found, however power was shut off and the electric company contacted.


Great Bend Police

A domestic incident was reported at 3:17 a.m. Monday at 1308 Monroe.

An injury crash was reported at 12:52 p.m. at 1225 Patton Road.


Barton County Sheriff

A gas leak/spill was reported at 5:33 a.m. Monday in the 600 block of SW 110 Ave., Pawnee Rock.

A K-9 callout was utilized at a traffic stop at 1:10 p.m. at Burger King, 3929 10th St., Great Bend.

A theft was reported at 2 p.m,. at NW K-96, mile marker 165, Albert.

A theft was reported at 3:15 p.m. at NW 160 Road and NW 100 Ave., Olmitz.

A criminal threat was reported at 8:30 p.m. at 24 Chisolm Trail, Great Bend.

A domestic incident was reported at 9:53 p.m. at 206 S. Main St., Ellinwood.

A non-injury crash was reported at 10:53 p.m. at NE 90 Ave., Odin.
