Great Bend Fire/EMS

Firefighters responded to 1612 Holland St. at 7:51 a.m. Monday after a smoke smell was detected in the residence. No fire was found; the power was shut off and Wheatland Electric was called to check it out.

Emergency Medical Service made 12 ambulance runs Monday.

A driving complaint/battery was reported at 2:46 p.m. Monday in the 2400 block of Main Street.

Criminal damage to property was reported at 4:11 p.m. at 2202 26th St.

A burglary/theft from a vehicle was reported at 17th and McKinley St.

A two-vehicle crash with minor injuries was reported at 5:43 p.m. Monday at Applebees, 3209 10th St.

The GBPD assisted the BCSO with a driving complaint and pursuit at 6:04 p.m. after a driver failed to yield to lights and sirens. Joshua Smith was arrested on charges of flee and elude, reckless driving, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia, and was released after posting bond.

A domestic battery was reported at 7:26 p.m. at 1307 Roosevelt. Mckinley Payne was arrested for domestic battery and released after posting bond.

A bicycle was reportedly stolen from The Reserves at Trail Ridge, 811 Grant St.

A non-injury crash was reported at 7:15 a.m. Monday at Outer Limits Liquor, 31 NE 30 Road.

A non-injury crash was reported at 3:44 p.m. at 759 North U.S. 281, Hoisington.

A pursuit was reported at 6:04 p.m. on West U.S. 56 at mile marker 197, Dundee.

A non-injury crash was reported at 7:22 p.m. on East U.S. 56 at mile marker 209, Great Bend.
