Great Bend Fire/EMS

Emergency Medical Service made seven ambulance runs Thursday. There were no fires.


Barton County Sheriff

A non-injury crash was reported at 2:32 a.m. Thursday in the 1600 block of McKinley St.

A sex offense was reported in Albert.

Theft was reported at 193 SE 1 Ave., Great Bend.

Theft was reported at 1251 SE 30 Road, Ellinwood.

A stabbing was reported at 10:03 p.m. at 1120 Morton St.


Great Bend Police

A juvenile complaint was taken at 10:56 a.m. Thursday at Washington Early Education Center, 2535 Lakin Ave.

A minor non-injury crash was reported at 12:34 p.m. at Buff Car Wash, 4800 10th St.

A known person reportedly damaged a door at 5900 Eisenhower Court B.

A sex offense involving a juvenile was reported.

A stabbing/aggravated battery was reported at 10:03 p.m. at 1120 Morton. An attempt to local (ATL) was put out on suspect Timothy Chism. Police were back on scene at 4:13 a.m. Friday.
