Great Bend Police

A subject reported witnessing her wallet being stolen from her vehicle at 5:51 a.m. Wednesday at 2809 Forest Ave.

An single-vehicle injury crash was reported at 10th Street and Washington Street at 6:02 a.m. Wednesday. The vehicle struck a curb, then a sign and a street light.

A subject reported items being stolen from his vehicle at 2701 Lakin Ave. at 6:43 a.m. Wednesday.

A burglary in progress was reported at 1209 Adams St., Great Bend, at 7:44 a.m. Wednesday. BCSO also responded.

A kitchen fire was reported at 9:31 a.m. Wednesday at 717 Coolidge Apt. 20. Great Bend Fire Department responded. A toaster had caught fire, and the fire was already extinguished upon GBFD arrival.

Theft of a chain saw was reported at Waters Hardware, 1649 K-96, at 9:48 a.m. Wednesday.

Walmart reported theft of money from the store at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday.

Fraudulent use of personal information was reported at 3:38 p.m. Wednesday at 909 Stone St.

A non-injury crash was reported at 3:56 p.m. Wednesday in the 800 block of 10th Street.

Theft of a security camera was reported at 5:36 p.m. Wednesday at 1411 18th St. Criminal use of a financial card was reported at the same address.

Walmart reported theft of items from the store at 7:25 p.m. Wednesday.


Barton County Sheriff

A burglary in progress was reported at 1209 Adams St., Great Bend, at 7:44 a.m. Wednesday.

A narcotics violation was reported at 9:03 a.m. Wednesday.
