Great Bend Fire/EMS

They responded to four Emergency Medical Services calls Friday and one gas odor with nothing found.

They responded to four Emergency Medical Services calls Saturday and one gas odor with nothing found, as well as performing standby at the Expo Grounds for “Battle of the Barns.”

They responded to three Emergency Medical Services calls Sunday. There were no fires.


Barton County Sheriff

A non-injury crash was reported at 5:51 a.m. Friday at K-156 mile marker 140.9

A non-injury crash was reported at 7:58 p.m. Saturday at K-4 and NE 130 Ave.

A burglary/not-in-progress was reported at 4:19 p.m. Sunday at Esfeld Construction, 177 S. U.S. 281, Great Bend.

The K-9 Unit was called out to a traffic stop at 6:52 p.m. Sunday at U.S. 281 mile marker 127.

The K-9 Unit was called out to a traffic stop at 8:02 p.m. Sunday in the 3600 block of 12th St.

A battery was reported at 10:20 p.m. Sunday at 16th St. and Washington St.

A burglary/in-progress was reported at 8:05 a.m. Friday at 2311 Lakin Ave.

A theft of motor fuel was reported at 3:35 p.m. Friday at Cerv’s, 1000 Main St.

Theft of a wallet from a vehicle was reported at 2:14 p.m. Saturday at 809 Coolidge St. #311.

A battery was reported at 3:39 p.m. Saturday. Arizona Woods was arrested and booked for Battery Domestic Violence in lieu of bond.

Criminal damage to a window was reported at 1:45 a.m. Sunday at 5907 Eisenhower Ct. Apt. B.

A non-injury crash was reported at 10:08 a.m. Sunday at 2012 Hubbard St.

A hit-and-run non-injury crash was reported at 2:20 p.m. Sunday at Dillons #51, 4107 10th St.

A theft was reported at 5:56 p.m. Sunday at Cerv’s, 1000 Main St.

A battery was reported at 10:20 p.m. Sunday at 16th St. and Washington St.
