Great Bend Fire/EMS
Emergency Medical Service responded to 12 calls Friday, five Saturday and nine Sunday. They were on standby Friday and Saturday at the dragstrip.
A garage fire was reported at 7:30 p.m. Saturday in the 3100 block of 24th Street but the fire was out when firefighters arrived.
Other calls included two false alarms caused by system malfunctions Friday and Sunday. A reported fire at 7:32 p.m. Saturday in the 3100 block of 24th St. was actually smoke from a barbecue grill.

A non-injury crash was reported at 7:57 a.m. Friday at 24th and Williams.
A hit-and-run crash was reported at Dillons No. 3, 1811 Main.
A crash with suspected minor injuries was reported at 12:57 p.m. at Kwik Shop 753, 3907 Broadway.
Criminal damage to a vehicle was reported at the University of Kansas Health System -Great Bend Campus, 514 Cleveland.
A theft was reported at Smokers Outlet, 3220 10th St.
A non-injury crash was reported at 6:32 p.m. in the 2500 block of 20th St.
A window was broken on a vehicle at 1515 Hubbard St.
Theft of medications was reported early Saturday at 1443 18th St.
Police responded to a domestic call at 2:03 a.m. Saturday in the 5800 block of Eisenhower Court. While at the residence, suspected narcotics were located.
A sex offense was reported.
A non-injury crash was reported at 11 a.m. at Broadway and McKinley.
A cruelty to animals case was taken Saturday after a call from the 1900 block of Williams Street.
Police responded to a domestic call at 4:43 a.m. Sunday in the 1400 block of 19th St. and a subject reported being battered by two males.
A theft was reported at Dollar General, 2400 10th St.
A non-injury crash was reported at 4:15 p.m. at Braum’s, 4209 10th St.
An air compressor was reportedly stolen from a vehicle at 1430 9th St.
Someone reportedly paid for items at Walmart with a counterfeit $100 bill.
Criminal damage to property at Cherry Lane and Eisenhower Ave. was reported Monday morning.

A non-injury crash was reported at 5:30 p.m. at NE 20 Road and Washington Ave.
A burglary was reported Saturday at 635 Cheyenne View Dr., Great Bend.
A fight was reported at 2:31 a.m. Sunday at Rodeo Disco, 178 North U.S. 281.
Officers checked on an animal complaint Sunday evening, in the 500 block of SE 67 Ave., Ellinwood.
