Great Bend Fire/EMS
Firefighters received two false alarms Tuesday. One was at 12:15 p.m. at 2317 Washington (see below) and one was at 4:03 p.m. at Holiday Inn Express.

A battery was reported at 8 a.m. Tuesday at Pathways Rescare, 3632 Robin Road. The suspect, Robert Isaacs, was arrested after allegedly battering officers on scene.
An attempted phone scam was reported but no money was lost.
Gilbert King was arrested for aggravated battery at 12:13 p.m. Tuesday at Pathways Rescare, 2317 Washington St. There was a fire alarm at this address at 12:15. This was logged as a malicious false alarm.
A Great Bend resident reported have stolen property from McPherson in her possession. The property was collected and an outside agency assist case was made.
Items were stolen from a porch at 1434 9th St.
A juvenile case was taken after criminal damage to property was reported at Sweet Dreams Candy Shop, 1403 Main.
Someone damaged a door and window at 1401 Coolidge St.
A burglary was reported Tuesday night after items were stolen from 2215 Van Buren St.
Police were dispatched to a domestic call at 11:19 p.m. Tuesday at 2907 24th St. A suspect was arrested for battery domestic violence.
Barton County Sheriff
The K-9 unit was dispatched at 9th and Holland St. in Great Bend at 4:23 p.m. Tuesday, shortly after a warrant arrest at that address. Great Bend Police Department also responded.
