Great Bend Fire/EMS

Emergency Medical Service made eight ambulance runs Friday, 12 Saturday and zero Sunday. There were no fire calls.


Barton County Sheriff

A theft was reported Saturday at Lake Barton Golf Club, 673 North U.S. 281.

A non-injury crash was reported at 9:36 a.m. Sunday on East U.S. 56 at mile marker 209.


Great Bend Police

A non-injury crash was reported at 11:15 a.m. Friday at Zip Stop #5, 1001 Main.

Theft of money was reported at Eagles Lodge, 1024 Main.

GBPD was on standby while Golden Belt Humane Society did a welfare check on a dog in the 2800 block of Morton.

A non-injury crash was reported at 3:58 p.m. at 2401 24th St.

An individual reported being battered at Pathways Rescare, 1440 18th St.

Theft of cash was reported at Walmart, 3503 10th St.

A possible theft was reported at 12:23 a.m. Saturday at Walmart when two subjects exited through a fire escape door.

Police were called to a residential disturbance 3:02 a.m. Saturday. A suspect was later arrested and booked on a charge of stalking and harassment by telecommunications.

A burglary was reported Saturday at Hard Right Rolling Boutique, 1624 10th St. Loss included a firearm. Property from the case was later recovered at a residence in the 300 block of Walnut.

A theft or possible fraud was reported at the police station.

A non-injury crash was reported at 2:03 p.m. Saturday at 24th and Main.

An injury crash was reported at 7:27 p.m. Saturday at Broadway and McKinley.

An injury crash was reported at 8:56 p.m. Saturday at 29th and Williams.

A theft was reported at Walmart.

A non-injury crash was reported at 10:39 p.m. Saturday at 29th and Gano.

Theft of a cell phone was reported Sunday at Autozone, 2219 10th St.

Around 11:17 p.m. Sunday, a caller reported a subject possibly stealing items in the 1100 block of Morphy Street. The Daily Incident Log reports there was no case because “they were the rightful owners.”
