Update/correction

On The Record for March 22-24 showed a burglary was reported Saturday at 1624 10th St. in Great Bend. The Great Bend Tribune used the name of a business previously located at that address, which appeared on the police log. The correct name of the current occupant is Hard Right Rolling Boutique.

Great Bend Fire EMS

Emergency Medical Service had six ambulance calls Monday. Firefighters responded to an unauthorized burn at 4 p.m. at 1004 Eighth Street. There was one false alarm caused by a system malfunction.

Barton County Sheriff

A non-injury crash was reported at 6:20 a.m. at Barton Community College.

A non-injury crash was reported at 6:42 a.m, on East U.S. 56 at mile marker 207.

A search warrant was executed at 10:50 a.m. at 512 East Fourth St. in Ellinwood.

Search warrants were executed around 11 a.m. in Great Bend at 1408 11th St., 2015 Holland St., 2501 Cheyenne Dr. and 36 Kiowa Road.

A non-injury crash was reported at 2:56 p.m. at Red Barn Pet Products, 30 SE 10 Road, Great Bend.

A theft was reported at NW 50 Ave. and NW 100 Road.

A non-injury crash was reported at 3:38 p.m. at 593 NW 10 Ave.

Search warrants were executed by detectives at 11 a.m. at 1408 11th St. and 2015 Holland. The K-9 unit was also sent to 2015 Holland. 

A crash with minor or possible injuries was reported at 4:33 p.m. at 16th and Morton.

A license tag was reportedly stolen at 701 Morton St.

An officer attempted to stop a gold SUV for speeding at 3:08 a.m. Monday at Seventh and Macarthur, but the vehicle failed to stop. A pursuit ensued.
