Great Bend Fire/EMS

Emergency Medical Service had seven call on Friday, four on Saturday and four on Sunday.

A fire was reported at 8:39 p.m. Saturday near 20 Road and South U.S. 281 but it was actually a controlled burn.


Barton County Sheriff

A burglary in progress was reported at 6:28 a.m. Friday at 354 Main, Dundee. The area was checked but nothing was found.

A non-inury crash was reported at 3:41 a.m. Saturday on East U.S. 56 and SE 150 Ave.


Great Bend Police

Theft/forgery was reported Friday at Casey’s General Store, 2716 10th St.

A burglary in progress was reported at 1:29 p.m. at 215 Fruit St.

A fraud was reported at Walmart.

A non-injury crash was reported at 4:34 p.m. at Kansas and Lakin.

A non-injury crash was reported at 7:41 p.m. at 2734 Dry Creek.

A cell phone was reportedly stolen from 2622 Paseo Dr.

GBPD officers assisted the Kansas Highway Patrol in a traffic stop at the Front Door, 1615 10th St., at 12:04 a.m. Saturday.

An unknown motorist struck a legally parked vehicle at 5957 Eisenhower and left the area.

Computer crimes and theft were reported Saturday at the Great Bend Co-op, 606 Main.

A bicycle was found at 12th and Frey and booked in.

Criminal damage to property was discovered at 1107 Holland St. after a burglary was reported there.

A known person allegedly broke a window at 1700 Lakin Ave.

A non-injury crash was reported at 5:36 p.m. Sunday at 2204 25th St.

Criminal damage to property was reported Monday morning at Head Quarters Salon, 1104 Main.
