Great Bend Fire/EMS
Emergency Medical Service made seven ambulance runs Monday. Firefighters responded to a shed/garage fire at 5:36 p.m. at 84 SE 20 Road. The fire was out when they arrived.
Great Bend Police
With snow on the ground Monday, the Great Bend Police Department received multiple reports of non-injury crashes. Then, at 2:41 a.m. Tuesday, Sgt. Ryan DeYoung and Officer Taylor Reed pushed a vehicle out of the snow at Hemlock Drive and Patton Road. Monday’s reported crashes included:
- Broadway and Hubbard at 8:15 a.m.
– 21st and Polk at 8:16 a.m.
- Broadway and McKinley at 10:49 a.m.
- 16th and Washington at 3 p.m.
- 4500 block of 10th St. at 6:15 p.m.
A subject reported being battered by a known person at Cherry Village Apartments, 5926 Eisenhower Ave.
A sex offense was reported.
Theft of Kansas tag 596LWJ was reported at 701 Morton St.

A fire was reported at 7:17 p.m. Monday at NW 100 Ave. and NW 90 Road.
