Great Bend Fire/EMS

Great Bend Emergency Medical Service made three ambulance runs on Friday, 10 on Saturday and five on Sunday.

Firefighters responded to a gas leak at 2102 29th St. at 12:04 p.m. Friday. Kansas Gas Service responded.

They responded to a power line downed by a tree at 2:03 p.m. Sunday at 2103 25th St.


Great Bend Police

A battery of a juvenile was reported at 9:05 a.m. Friday at Cherished Blessings Child Development Center, 4500 10th St. A notice to appear was signed and served on an individual.

A baggie of suspected narcotics was found in a bathroom Friday morning at Medicalodges Inc., Great Bend, 1401 Cherry Lane. It was booked into evidence.

A non-injury crash was reported at 12:16 p.m. Friday at Jefferson Elementary, 2716 24th St.

A report of criminal trespassing was received at 4:23 p.m. at 2207 Monroe.

A non-injury hit-and-run crash was reported at 2:30 a.m. Saturday at 19th St. and Madison.

A non-injury crash was reported at 3:56 p.m. at Broadway and Main St.

A sex offense was reported at 7:39 p.m.

A narcotics violation with a K9 callout was reported at 9:37 p.m. at 27th and Washington.

Criminal damage to a city street light was reported at 3:06 a.m. Sunday at the 1100 block of Main St.

A burglary not in progress was reported at 10:41 a.m. at 1213 Ninth St.

A non-injury crash was reported at 1:16 p.m. at 1719 Heizer St.

A disturbance was reported at 8:35 pm. at 1702 Morton.

A criminal threat was reported at 9:30 p.m. at 1702 Morton.

 

Barton County Sheriff

A non-injury crash was reported at 12:28 a.m. Saturday at 347 SE 60 Ave.

A shots fired report was received at 11:21 a.m. at 32 SW 20 Road.

A narcotics violation was reported at 9:12 p.m. Sunday in the 200 block of SW 50 Road.

A narcotics violation was reported at 10:41 p.m. at mile marker 108 on North U.S. 281.
