Great Bend Fire/EMS

Great Bend Emergency Medical Service reported 13 ambulance runs Friday, four Saturday and four Sunday.

Firefighters responded to a fuel leak at Cervs, 1000 Main, at 8:13 a.m. Friday.

A smoke alarm detection caused by a hot electrical cord and was reported at 12:31 Saturday in the 800 block of Williams St.

On Sunday, firefighters responded to an illegal grass burn at 2:09 p.m. at Third and Dogwood. The fire was extinguished.

A domestic incident was reported at 7:07 a.m. Friday at 811 Grant St.

A non-injury crash was reported at 8:06 a.m. at 23rd and Jackson.

A non-injury hit-and-run crash with property damage was reported at 11:58 a.m. at 1421 Washington St.

A two-vehicle injury crash was reported at 6:27 p.m. Friday in the 2500 block of McKinley. A subject was transported and both vehicles towed.

A non-injury crash was reported at 10:51 p.m. at 5421 Apache Road.

Criminal damage to a building sign was reported at 9:50 a.m. Saturday at The Station, 2546 20th St.

A non-injury crash was reported at 1:38 p.m. Saturday at Lakin Ave. and Main.

A burglary in progress was reported at 8:28 p.m. at Animal Care Hospital, 3400 10th St.

Criminal damage to property with garage windows shot out was reported at 10:52 a.m. Sunday at 3515 Lakin Ave.

A non-injury hit-and-run crash was reported at 11:38 a.m. at 2910 18th St.

An injury crash was reported at 4:01 p.m. at 16th and Morphy. A subject was transported to KU Health Systems-Great Bend campus.

Theft of a license tag was reported at 6:23 p.m. at 1504 12th St.

A theft was reported at 9:05 p.m. at 913 Jefferson.


Barton County Sheriff

A narcotics violation was reported at 1:27 a.m. Friday at Second and Main, Great Bend.

A domestic incident was reported at 12:37 p.m. in the 300 block of Marla Street, Great Bend.

A burglary not in progress was reported at 7:42 a.m. Saturday at Murphy’s Mini Storage, 2300 block Railroad Ave., Great Bend.

A criminal trespassing was reported at 4:22 p.m. in the 400 block of Comanche Road, Great Bend.

A non-injury crash was reported at 9:20 p.m. at NW 80 Ave., Olmitz.

A domestic incident was reported at 11:10 p.m. Saturday in the 600 block of Windmill Lane, Great Bend.
