Great Bend Fire EMS

There were four Emergency Medical Services calls Tuesday and a fifth call that was canceled en route. A gas leak was reported at 282 East Barton County Road at 1:48 p.m. and there was a false alarm due to a smoke detector malfunction at 812 Baker Ave. at 7:15 a.m.


Barton County Sheriff

A non-injury crash was reported at 5:38 p.m. Tuesday at Outer Limits Liquor, 30 NE 30 Road, Great Bend.

A battery was reported at the Barton County Detention Center.


Great Bend Police

A non-injury crash was reported at 7:48 a.m. Tuesday at Locksmiths, 1010 Stone St.

A non-injury crash was reported at 12:09 p.m. at 10th and Main.

An individual at the Salvation Army Family Store, 2545 10th St., reported theft of items by a former employee.

An injury crash was reported at 4:08 p.m. at Broadway Ave. and Patton Road.

A burglary was reported at 2109 11th St. A TV and other items were taken from the residence.

A pursuit involving Danial Barr was initiated at 18th and Frey St. The BCSO reports assisting at 11:06 p.m. Barr was taken into custody around 2 a.m. Wednesday.
