Great Bend Fire/EMS

Emergency Medical Service made four ambulance runs Monday. There was a fire reported at 11:25 p.m. after lightning struck a house at 2230 Canterbury Lane.

A non-injury crash was reported at 10 a.m. Monday at 2420 9th St.

A non-injury crash was reported at 11:37 a.m. at 11th and Kansas.

A non-injury crash was reported at 12:39 p.m. in the 3800 block of 10th Street.

A non-injury crash was reported at 12:44 p.m. at 9th and Main.

Someone cut the flood control fence at SE 35 Ave. and SE 5 Road. BCSO also responded.

Shoplifting was reported at Dollar General, 2400 10th St.

Theft of a SIM card was reported at 1443 18th St.

A hit-and-run crash was reported at 4:13 p.m. at 10th and Washington.

A non-injury crash was reported at 5:20 p.m. at 1432 10th St.

A dog was reportedly stolen from 1614 Morton St.


Barton County Sheriff’s Office

A theft was reported Monday at 105 West E St., Ellinwood.

A non-injury crash was reported at 4:46 p.m. at 421 West U.S. 56, Great Bend.
