Great Bend Fire/EMS

Emergency Medical Service made six ambulance runs on Wednesday, Nov. 23, six on Thursday, three on Friday, four on Saturday and eight on Sunday.

There were no structure fires, but there was a smoke detector malfunction/false alarm on Thanksgiving and an unauthorized burn in an alley in the 1200 block of Holland Street at 12:25 p.m. Saturday.

Great Bend Police

Shortly after police received a report of an unknown subject ringing a doorbell at 10:44 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 23, on Truman St. and leaving in an older model Ford truck, an officer made contact with the juveniles involved and their parents.

K-9 Menta was utilized on a traffic stop at 1:14 p.m. Friday at 10th and Hubbard; nothing was found.

A domestic dispute was reported at 2 p.m. Friday at 1411 Wilson St. Richard Booker was arrested on aggravated domestic battery.

Theft/burglary of a storage unit at Anspaugh Storage Sheds, 2401 Washington, was reported Friday.

A two-vehicle non-injury crash was reported at 3 p.m. Friday at 10th and Harrison.

A theft case was taken Friday afternoon at 821 Maple St.

A K-9 unit was deployed during a traffic stop at 2:19 a.m. Saturday in the 1300 block of Sherman Street.

A domestic battery was reported at 9:43 p.m. Saturday at 1700 Lakin Ave.  Virdiana Dominguez was arrested for aggravated domestic battery and child endangerment.

A burglary with theft of a firearm was reported Sunday at 1210 Madison St.

A sex offense at Stone Lake, 2501 Railroad Ave., was reported at 10:28 p.m. Sunday.

A suspect was arrested for possession of meth and paraphernalia at 11:20 p.m. Sunday at the Baltzell Motel, 705 10th St.

A non-injury crash was reported at 1:54 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 23, in the 1100 block of NW 10 Ave., Great Bend.

An injury crash was reported at 5:07 a.m. Wednesday at 42 NE 20 Road, Great Bend.

A theft was reported at 656 West Barton County Road.

A non-injury crash was reported at 5:47 a.m. Thursday on NE K-156 near mile marker 140, rural Claflin.

A battery was reported at 7:33 p.m. Thursday at the Barton County Detentions Center.

A K-9 unit was deployed at 23rd and Adams St. in Great Bend at 1:21 a.m. Saturday.

A burglary was reported Saturday at 248 SE 10 Ave., Great Bend.

A non-injury crash was reported at 6:40 p.m. Saturday on West K-4 and NW 20 Ave., Great Bend.

A theft was reported Saturday night at 466 NW 180 Road, Hoisington.

A possible narcotics violation was reported at 4:30 a.m. Sunday on South U.S. 281, Great Bend, at mile marker 102.

A non-injury crash was reported at 2:18 p.m. Sunday on East U.S. 56 and mile marker 218.

A non-injury crash was reported at 5:06 p.m. Sunday at 10th and Main in Great Bend.

A non-injury crash was reported at 6:43 p.m. at SE 20 Road and SE 50 Ave., Great Bend.
