Great Bend Fire/EMS

Firefighters responded to a grass fire at 11:30 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 1, in the 600 block of East Barton County Road.

A structure fire was reported at 9:34 p.m. Sunday in the 200 block of Locust Street, where a camper was fully involved in flames when firefighters arrived. The Kansas Fire Marshal’s office investigated.

On Tuesday there was a grass fire at 3:45 p.m. at 20 SE 40 Ave.

Emergency Medical Service also reports making three ambulance runs Sunday, 15 Monday and 11 Tuesday.

Great Bend Police

A search warrant was executed at 1:07 p.m. Tuesday at 1819 Madison St.

A non-injury crash was reported at 3:18 p.m. at 24th and Monroe.

Barton County Sheriff

A non-injury crash was reported at 7:21 a.m. Tuesday on East U.S. 56 at mile marker 218, Ellinwood.

A fire was reported at 3:48 p.m. at 20 SE 40 Ave., Great Bend.

A non-injury crash was reported at 3:55 p.m. at NE 50 Ave. and East U.S. 56, Great Bend.

An investigation continued at 1331 NW 80th Ave. in Stafford County, where Barton County law enforcement is assisting Stafford County.

An injury crash was reported at 4:13 p.m. at 170 SW 40 Ave., Great Bend.

An injury crash was reported at 5:36 p.m. at 160 South U.S. 281, Great Bend.

A non-injury crash was reported at 6:11 p.m. in the 1800 block of Susank Road, Hoisington.
