Great Bend Fire/EMS

Emergency Medical Service responded to five calls on Thursday. Firefighters responded to one authorized controlled burn that reignited.

Great Bend Police

An aggravated assault was reported at 8:52 a.m. Thursday at Pathways Rescare, 2317 Washington St.

A battery was reported at an undisclosed location.

A non-injury crash was reported at 4:19 p.m. at 19th and Washington.

Police were contacted at 1:15 a.m. Friday when an unknown stranger walked into a residence in the 2400 block of 10th St. and refused to leave. A woman was arrested for criminal trespass and obstruction.

Barton County Sheriff

A burglary was reported Thursday at 55 SE 60 Ave., Great Bend.

A theft was reported at 395 SW 10 Road, Great Bend.
