Great Bend Fire/EMS

Firefighters made nine ambulance runs Friday, three Saturday and three Sunday.

Emergency Medical Service was on standby Friday at the GBHS football game.

There was one false fire alarm at 3 p.m. Friday at The University of Kansas Health System - Great Bend Campus, 514 Cleveland St., caused by a system malfunction.

Firefighters attended to gas leaking from a vehicle at 8:04 p.m. Friday in the 3200 block of Railroad Ave.

There was a fence and grass fire reported at 6:32 p.m. Saturday in the 2400 block of 24th Street.

A two-vehicle, non-injury crash was reported at 4:44 p.m. Friday at 1016 Coolidge St.

A two-vehicle, non-injury crash was reported at 4:58 p.m. at Casey’s General Store, 2716 10th St.

A four-car, non-injury crash was reported at 5:08 p.m. at Arby’s, 3413 10th St.

School Resource Officers Thomas and Millard provided security Friday evening at the GBHS football game.

A non-injury crash was reported at 9:54 p.m. at Broadway and Odell.

A fight at the football game was reported at 10 p.m.; a case was taken for battery.

A package was stolen from 1421 Hubbard St., it was reported Saturday.

Police responded to a report of a domestic disturbance at 2803 Bonita Ave. at 2:09 p.m. and took a case.

Sgt. Suss provided escort to The Men motorcycle club for their Toys for Tots drive starting Saturday afternoon a Brit Spaugh Park.

An ankle monitor that had been cut off was found at 7:19 a.m. Sunday at Walmart, 3503 10th St.

Criminal damage to property was reported Sunday at the Holiday Apartments, 5210 10th St. No. 21.

Criminal use of a financial card was reported at Walmart.

A theft was reported Sunday evening at 2415 11th St.

A battery was reported Friday afternoon at the Barton County Detention Center.

A non-injury crash was reported at 8:06 p.m. Friday at The Rack, 3322 Railroad Ave. A., Great Bend.

An assault was reported at 1 a.m. Saturday in the 400 block of East Barton County Road, Great Bend.

A non-injury crash was reported at 7:15 a.m. Saturday at Doonan Big Wrecker, 36 NE K-156, Great Bend.

A fire was reported at 10:34 a.m. Saturday on Rock Street in Pawnee Rock.
