Great Bend Police

A theft of services report was received at 2:34 p.m. Monday at 1908 Adams.

A non-injury crash was reported at 3:12 p.m. at 17th and Stone St.

A theft report was received at 4:07 p.m. from Wheatland Electric at 1820 Second St.

A non-injury crash was reported at 4:55 p.m. at 24th St. and K-96.

A non-injury crash was reported at 9:42 p.m. at 24th and McKinley when a motorist making a right turn struck the curb.

A pursuit started at 11:31 p.m. at Eisenhower and Ridgeway after officers attempted to stop a vehicle and the driver fled. The vehicle hit a fence and the driver then fled on foot. The K-9 unit was deployed but the subject was not immediately found. An officer located an open gate in the neighborhood in reference to a subject running in the area.



Barton County Sheriff’s Office

A fire was reported at 10:06 a.m. Monday at 198 SE 120 Ave., Ellinwood.

Fires were reported at 8 p.m. at NE 140 Ave. and NE 90 Road, and at 1152 NE 70 Road, both in rural Claflin.

A pursuit was reported at 11:31 p.m. Monday from Eisenhower Ave. and Ridgeway in Great Bend.
