Great Bend Fire/EMS

Emergency Medical Service made five ambulance runs Monday and three Tuesday.

There was a report of a structure fire at 3:44 p.m. Tuesday at 2433 24th St., where smoke was showing but no flames were visible. A damage estimate was not immediately available but the State Fire Marshal inspected the site Wednesday morning.

A fire alarm was reported at 12:49 a.m. Wednesday at Fuller Industries, 15 SW 40 Ave. The site was having alarm problems.


Great Bend Police

A non-injury accident and a report of found property occurred at the intersection Eisenhower and Ridgeway at 8:45 a.m. Tuesday.

A fraud was reported at Farmer’s Bank & Trust, 1017 Harrison St., at 12:17 p.m. A report of identity theft in Ellinwood was referred to the Ellinwood Police Department.

A battery was reported at 7:41 a.m. at Washington Early Education Center, 2535 Lakin Ave. 


Barton County Sheriff

A non-injury crash was reported at 8:46 a.m. at the 300 block of NE 120 road, Great Bend.
