Great Bend Fire/EMS

A field on fire was reported at 3:56 p.m. Friday at NE 20 Road and NE 20 Ave.

There were two unauthorized burns on Saturday. A small fire with no damage was reported at 7:34 p.m. at 20th and Heizer in Great Bend, and there was a fire off of the highway at 10:06 p.m. at Dundee.

A small trash can fire at Love’s Country Store, 1221 10th St., was reported at 5:11 p.m. Sunday and was put out by a store employee.


Great Bend Police

A sex offense was reported Friday.

A blue, 2013 Chrysler 300 with Kansas tag 524PZE was reported stolen from Marmie Chrysler, 1724 10th St.

A two-vehicle non-injury crash was reported at 2:35 p.m. Friday at 2601 10th St.

An aggravated assault case was taken at 7 p.m. Friday at 2201 28th St.

A burglary was reported at 1123 Stone St.

An injury crash was reported at 9:29 p.m. Friday at Best Western Angus Inn, 2920 10th St.

A theft from Dollar General, 2400 10th St., was reported Saturday.

A minor injury crash was reported at 12:46 p.m. Saturday at Broadway and Madison.

A domestic battery was reported at 11:39 p.m. Saturday at 2022 Holland St. A notice to appear (NTA) was signed and a case was taken. Then, at 12:19 a.m. Sunday, Sterling Mills was arrested at that address on charges of criminal restraint and battery.

An unknown motorist in a “Chevy” struck a street sign in the 2100 block of Main at 6 a.m. Sunday.

A two-vehicle non-injury crash was reported at 12:09 p.m. Sunday at 1211 Heizer St.

A report of a burglary in progress at 1:49 p.m. Sunday was handled as a juvenile complaint.

A sex offense was reported Sunday evening.

An injury crash was reported at 7:31 a.m. Monday at 10th and McKinley.


Barton County Sheriff

A non-injury crash was reported at 7:19 p.m. Friday at NE 110 Ave. and E. K-4, Claflin.

A fraud case was reported Saturday at 168 SE 1 Ave., Great Bend.

A battery was reported at 12:56 p.m. Sunday at the 4-H Building, 601 N. U.S. 281, Great Bend. There was also a request to assist a citizen at the building at 2:53 a.m.

A fire was reported at 2:45 p.m. Sunday at Ave. E and County Road 370, Albert.

A fire department provided mutual aid at 3:12 p.m. to CR 380 and Ave. F, Rush County.
