Great Bend Fire/EMS

A small ditch fire was reported at 12:58 a.m. Sunday in the 300 block of East U.S. 56.

Great Bend Fire Department responded to seven Emergency Medical Service calls Friday, eight Saturday and five Sunday. They also performed standbys Friday at the football game and at the drag races, and Saturday at the drag races.

There was one false alarm on Friday.


Barton County Sheriff

A non-injury crash was reported at 7:26 a.m. Friday on NW K-96 at mile marker 168.

Burglary with theft was reported at SE 30 Road and SE 60 Ave.

A non-injury crash was reported at 7:50 a.m. Saturday in the 100 block of NW 100 Road, Hoisington.

A non-injury crash was reported at 9:26 a.m. on East U.S. 56 and NE K-156.

A non-injury crash was reported at 7:01 p.m. at K-19 and NW 20th St., outside of the county.

BCSO assisted an outside agency at 7:24 p.m. on South U.S. 281 and SE 70 Road, out of the county.

A vehicle hit a deer at 8:10 p.m. at NE 10 Ave. and NE 30 Road.

A vehicle hit a deer at 9:57 p.m. in the 400 block of South U.S. 281, Great Bend.

A vehicle hit a deer at 10:39 p.m. at NE 160 Road and NE 30 Ave., Hoisington.

A non-injury crash was reported at 5:44 a.m. Sunday at 680 NE K-156, Claflin.

An outside agency assist was reported at 12:31 p.m. in the 100 block of South Vine Street, Hoisington.


Great Bend Police

A non-injury crash was reported at 8:52 a.m. Friday at 19th and Monroe.

A non-injury crash was reported at 9:46 a.m. at Hubbard and Broadway.

Criminal damage to property was reported at Chlumsky Liquor, 2204 Kansas Ave.

A burglary with criminal damage to property was reported at 5926 Eisenhower Ave., Apt. 25.

A vehicle was damaged by a hit-and-run vehicle at Walmart, 3503 10th St.

Theft was reported at 1434 17th St.

A battery was reported at 218 Pine St.

A non-injury crash was reported at 5:03 p.m. at 1500 Kansas Ave.

A theft was reported at Shoe Sensation, 3407 10th St.

Officers checked on a report of a possible underage party at 10:30 p.m. but did not find anything.

A theft was reported at Walmart.

Theft of money was reported Saturday at Dillons #3, 1811 Main.

A burglary in progress with criminal damage to property was reported at 12:03 a.m. Sunday at 1805 Tyler St.

Theft of a 2008 Dodge pickup with Kansas tag 478-CCB was reported at Days Inn, 4701 10th St.

A non-injury crash was reported at 3:11 p.m. at 309 Frey St.
