Great Bend Fire/EMS

There were 10 EMS runs on Tuesday. Firefighters were dispatched to the U.S. Army Reserve Center, 2222 19th St., at 9:14 a.m. It was a false alarm.

Great Bend Police

A non-injury crash was reported at the 10th and Frey St. intersection at 7:55 a.m. Tuesday.

A report of a found cellphone was taken in the 2300 block of Kansas Ave. at 2:49 p.m. The phone was taken into evidence.

A non-injury crash was reported at the intersection of Broadway and Kansas Ave at 5:23 p.m.

A K9 Menta deployment was utilized at a traffic stop in the 1000 block of Morton St. at 2:59 a.m. Wednesday.

Barton County Sheriff 

A controlled burn was reported at 7:52 a.m. Tuesday at Avenue V and County Road 380 in Albert.

A controlled burn was reported at 9:09 a.m. at 1501 NE 150 Avenue in Claflin.

A domestic disturbance was reported at 3:17 p.m. Tuesday at 3322 Railroad Ave B in Great Bend.
