Great Bend Fire/EMS

Great Bend Emergency Medical Service had six ambulance runs Thursday, four Friday, six Saturday and seven Sunday. On Thursday, firefighters responded to a false carbon monoxide activation and a false smoke detector activation. On Saturday, firefighters responded to a gas leak report in the 2500 block of Williams at 2:59 p.m. with no leak detected; and Sunday, they responded to a fire alarm at 9:39 p.m. at the 2000 block of Morton with no fire found.


Great Bend Police

A non-injury crash was reported at 3:43 p.m. Friday at Lakin and McKinley.

A criminal trespass involving juveniles was reported at 6:46 p.m.

A K-9 callout was reported at 9:43 p.m. Saturday at Express Wellness Urgent Care, 3800 10th St.

A battery was reported at 12:32 a.m. Sunday at Kwik Shop, 2334 Main.

A theft was reported at 1:37 a.m. at 1118 Eighth St.

A narcotics violation was reported at 4:19 a.m at 16th and Harrison.

Theft of a firearm as reported at 10:4- a.m. at 2820 23rd St.

A vehicle burglary not in progress was reported at 1:51 p.m. at 4701 Quail Creek Drive.

A vehicle burglary not in progress was reported at 6:09 p.m. at 5225 Timber Creek.

A domestic incident was reported at 7:08 p.m. at 1610 Morton.

A non-injury crash was reported at 8:35 p.m. at Fifth and Plum.

Disorderly conduct was reported at 9:56 p.m. at 804 Pine Place.


Barton County Sheriff

A narcotics violation was reported at 2:41 p.m. Saturday at Fort Zarah, 330 E. U.S. 56, Great Bend.

A K-9 callout was reported at 9:43 p.m. at Xpress Wellness Urgent Care, 3800 10th St.

A battery was reported at 12:32 a.m. Sunday at Kwik Shop, 2334 Main St., Great Bend.

A narcotics violation was reported at 4:19 a.m. at 16th St. and Harrison, Great Bend.

An armed subject was reported at 11:07 p.m. at NW 200 Road and N. U.S. 281, Great Bend.

A structure fire was reported at 11:34 p.m. at 601 NW 80 Ave., Olmitz.
