Great Bend Fire/EMS
Emergency Medical Service received four calls Friday, six Saturday and eight Sunday. Firefighters were on standby Friday at the GBHS football game and Saturday at the SRCA dragstrip. There were no fires.

At 12:03 a.m. Friday, Sept. 7, police received a report that someone in a dark-colored pickup ran over a female’s toes in the 2100 block of 8th Street and then left the area. This was logged as a non-injury accident.
A burglary in progress was reported at 2:46 a.m. after someone from Airgas, 800 10th St., received a call of someone inside their fence. Nothing was found.
A non-injury crash was reported at 8:45 a.m. at Great Bend High School, 2027 Morton St.
A dog bite was reported in the 3100 block of Lakin Ave.
A cat bite was reported in the 2200 block of Heizer St.
Two Great Bend residents reported receiving IRS scam phone calls but there was no loss of money in either case.
A non-injury crash was reported at 3:15 p.m. at 19th and Odell St.
Two vehicles collided at 8:55 p.m. at 10th and McKinley. No injuries were reported.
Criminal damage to a residence at 2411 Coronado Ave. was reported Saturday.
Theft of a car key was reported at 1919 Washington St. A case of battery was later reported at that address.
A theft from Casey’s General Store was reported Sunday.
A peeping tom was reported at 11 p.m. in the 5900 block of Eisenhower Ave. A Notice to Appear in municipal court was signed and served.

A theft was reported Friday at 403 NE 110 Ave., Great Bend.
A vehicle vs deer crash was reported at 10:54 p.m. at NE 90 Ave. and NE 140 Road, Claflin.
A non-injury crash was reported at 1 p.m. Saturday at NW 30 Ave. and West K-4, Hoisington.
A non-injury crash was reported at 9:27 p.m. at NE 20 Ave. and NE 90 Road.
A theft was reported Sunday at Barton Community College, 245 NE 30 Road.
Criminal damage to property was reported at 101 SW 10 Road, Great Bend.
