Barton County Sheriff’s Office detectives arrested a Great Bend woman on drug charges Monday after executing a search warrant around 10:20 a.m. at 1217 Polk St.

Sheriff Brian Bellendir said detectives had been conducting an ongoing investigation that led to the search warrant. “Upon entry into the residence, officers discovered methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia and prescription medication,” Bellendir reported.

Morgan Krankenberg, 20, was arrested and booked for possession of methamphetamine within intent to distribute within 1,000 feet of a school (Eisenhower Elementary), possession of drug paraphernalia and unlawful sale of prescription drugs. She is being held in lieu of a $100,000 bond.
